Ryusuke Taguchi Challenging For DDT Universal Title, DOUKI Set For Tag Action At Wrestle Peter Pan

NJPW’s Ryusuke Taguchi and DOUKI will be in action on the card.

Ryōgoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan, is playing host to DDT Pro-Wrestling’s Wrestle Peter Pan show on August 11th.

Coming out of DDT’s June 28th show, multiple matches were set up for Wrestle Peter Pan. Two of the bouts will feature New Japan Pro-Wrestling talents.

Ryusuke Taguchi will be challenging Kazuma Sumi for the DDT Universal Championship. The two talents took a photo-op in the ring, and then Taguchi proceeded to send Sumi into the ring ropes and hit him with his ‘Bummer Ye’ hip attack.

In addition to that, former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion DOUKI will be teaming with Daisuke Sasaki to take on Antonio Honda and a partner of Honda’s choosing.
