NXT Heatwave PLE, AAA Event Set For August 30th In Edinburg, Texas

The Heatwave PLE will follow the AAA show.

As the 2026 NXT Great American Bash Premium Live Event was ongoing, the news was broken that on August 30th, the NXT and AAA brands would be running back-to-back shows.

The Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas, will host an AAA show, and then at the same arena, NXT will present the Heatwave Premium Live Event.

It is not the first time that AAA and WWE will have run a show on the same day. Back in June 2025, AAA presented Worlds Collide at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, and then, after the show ended, WWE presented the Money in the Bank PLE down the road at the Intuit Dome.

August 30th is the same day that All Elite Wrestling will present All In at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

AAA will start the festivities at 11 AM CST/12 PM EST.
