Tony Khan On WWE Running Two Shows The Same Day As All In: It’s Double The Compliment Jim Crockett Got

Tony Khan responds to WWE running two shows the same day as All In.
During NXT Great American Bash, WWE announced that AAA and NXT will run back-to-back shows on Sunday, August 30 in Texas. The shows will take place on the same day, and potentially the same time as AEW All In, which will return to Wembley Stadium.
Speaking at the Forbidden Door media scrum, Tony Khan spoke on WWE’s latest counter-programming attempt.
“It’s double the compliment Jimmy Crockett got [laughs]. Twice as nice as they were to Jimmy. I’ll be sure to take it that way. We’re going to have a great All In. It’s going to be a great night for AEW. I can’t speak to what the other promotions are doing, but I did see that announcement. I saw that with our show going on tonight, so not a lot I can do other than hope we have a very good show and plan and prepare that we will have a good show for All In,” he said.
NXT Great American Bash ran head-to-head with AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
