Kota Ibushi To Appear At GLEAT Fifth Anniversary On July 1

Kota Ibushi is set to appear at the GLEAT Fifth Anniversary Event on July 1.

GLEAT made the announcement on their YouTube channel.

Ibushi has competed three times in GLEAT during his career.

Kota Ibushi suffered an injury on AEW Collision (taped on October 8, 2025), falling off the shoulders of Josh Alexander from the turnbuckle and to the outside. In January, Ibushi said he was hoping to return in 2026 despite being told he would be sidelined for two years at the time of his injury. In February, Ibushi said he underwent another surgery because a major screw came loose.

He made a surprise appearance at Super Japan Pro Wrestling in May. Also in May, Ibushi revealed that he wanted to build a new pro wrestling venue. You can learn more about his aspirations by clicking here.
