Je’Von Evans Says Deadlock Was His ‘Top Tier’ Indie Promotion, ‘They Got My Name Out’

Je’Von Evans gives a shoutout to Deadlock.
Before arriving to WWE, Evans had a hell of a run in Deadlock Pro Wrestling, where he held a world championship for nearly two months. The ‘Young OG’ shared the ring with the likes of Jordan Oliver, Myron Reed, and Lio Rush throughout his time with the now-defunct promotion.
Speaking with Brandi Rhodes on A Shot Of Brandi, Evans mentioned Deadlock as his “top tier” indie promotion.
“Deadlock Pro Wrestling. That was kind of North Carolina based. That was my top tier, they got my name out for real. They gave me a lot of opportunities when it came to big name wrestlers and just being able to show who I am for real, you know?”
Elsewhere in the interview, Je’Von Evans named one move that he is afraid to try. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
