Will Ospreay talks about a weight lifting off his shoulders at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, noting he will carry a heavier one until All In.

Over the course of the last several months, Ospreay has been building up to winning the AEW Owen Hart Cup, initially returning at AEW Revolution with the goal of exorcizing his demons in the Death Riders. However, Ospreay would later align with the faction, with his goal to win the Owen Hart Cup superseding his desire for revenge. At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Ospreay would meet Swerve Strickland in the finals of the tournament, with Ospreay still having the Death Riders in his corner. Ospreay would eventually come away with the victory in the bout, booking his spot in the main event of AEW All In.

In a new social media post on Tuesday, Will Ospreay noted that a weight lifted when he won the Owen Hart Cup, but expects to carry a much heavier weight on his shoulders until AEW All In 2026.

“This moment felt a weight lifted. Knowing this Wednesday a much heavier weight will be on my shoulders that I’ll need to carry for 2 months to Wembley Stadium. It’s coming home”

At the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door post show press conference, Ospreay would also discuss AEW All In. You can read more about that here.
