Raja Jackson Begins Jail Sentence, Syko Stu Says He Holds No Grudges Against Jackson

The jail sentence for Raja Jackson began after the 7/2 court appearance.

Raja Jackson, son of former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, was jailed on July 2nd for an August 2025 incident which occurred at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in California.

Jackson was supposed to get involved in a match involving Syko Stu, real name Stuart Smith, but during Jackson’s involvement, he began to legitimately punch away at the face of Smith. The repeated punches from Jackson caused a head injury and facial fracture. Smith has not been able to work for a year because of memory loss and reduced cognitive function.

In May, Jackson agreed to plead no contest to battery. Jackson must serve 90 days in jail, spend two years on formal probation, and pay $81,000 in restitution to Smith.

Jackson’s attorney, Michael Freedman, said Jackson will likely be released from jail in September 2026, which is when his next hearing is scheduled.

Stuart Smith spoke in court and closed by saying he holds no grudges against Raja Jackson.

“What happened affected me deeply and I do not minimize the seriousness of it,” Smith said in court on Thursday. “The injuries I suffered led to a long and difficult recovery that I am still trying to recover from, including treatment for a severe traumatic brain injury, a shattered maxilla and a bone graft procedure.

I do not stand here with hatred (or) a desire for revenge. I hold no grudges against Mr. Jackson. People can make terrible decisions in difficult moments.”

Jackson did not speak at the hearing.

KnokX Pro was removed from the WWE I.D. program after the incident with Jackson. The school/promotion is run by WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi.
