Kiera Hogan Opens Up About Her Absence From Wrestling, Wants To Return To TNA

Candid comments from Kiera Hogan about her hiatus and what she wants to do in the future.
The last time that Kiera Hogan wrestled was in April 2025 for the independent promotion ASÉ, where she teamed with Tasha Steelz.
Hogan is getting back into the mix as she is now taking bookings again. She did an interview with the Hitting The Turnbuckle Podcast and opened up about her hiatus. She said the time away gave her enough time to miss wrestling. She felt like her career was stagnant.
“I mean, honestly, it’s been a very enlightening experience. This is the first time in my 11-year career that I have ever been out of wrestling this long, and it has been crazy. I am not used to it at all but I have learned a lot and I’ve been able to watch a lot just being away from wrestling. But it’s also given me a chance to miss it, because I feel like I was at a place in my career where I was just kind of stagnant. I wasn’t really happy, I wasn’t really fulfilled. But I feel like I miss it so much now that I can’t wait to get back to it so, now I’m just excited.”
From 2017 to 2021, Hogan was with IMPACT/TNA Wrestling. Alongside Tasha Steelz, they captured the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles twice.
Hogan is hopeful that she’ll reunite with Steelz. She added that she misses wrestling at TNA and that it will always be her home. Hogan went on to say that she wants to return.
“People still ask or tag me or ask Tasha (Steelz) about Fire ‘N Flava. ‘When are you guys getting back together? When are you guys gonna tag again?’ I just feel like that’s something that’s gonna be solidified with us for the rest of our days. So, I will always be grateful for that moment, for those moments and just for being Fire ‘N Flava and just going with the flow and honestly, I miss her so much. I miss tagging with her. I know she still talks about Fire ‘N Flava. I’ve heard her mention me on commentary or mention our tag team on commentary still at TNA so, I’m always hopeful that, you know, maybe, one day we’ll reunite and actually do it for real this time with the fans so they can actually be involved.
I just miss it. I miss wrestling for TNA. I miss working with my really close friends, like Tasha and Alisha Edwards is one of my really close friends. Gia Miller is one of my close friends. I just miss working with people that I love — Rosemary, Allie — me and Allie go way back. We used to be (very close) on the road. I miss TNA with all my heart and they will always have my heart. That will always be home for me.” The interviewer mentioned TNA President Carlos Silva and said if he’s watching, Kiera wants to come back, and Kiera responded, “I do, so make it happen. My line is always open.”
After her time in TNA, Hogan made the move to All Elite Wrestling, where she worked from 2021 to 2025.
Kiera shared that before she made the move to AEW, TNA offered her a new contract.
“When fans were allowed to come back to wrestling events, TNA had a pay-per-view. Obviously, me and Tasha (Steelz) lost the titles. I was kind of already on the way out of TNA. I was asked to re-sign with TNA, but, I was at a point in my career where I wanted to see what else was out there. I was just curious. I’d been with TNA for four years, five years. I had grown a lot with TNA. I could have stayed and just flourished from there but I was just curious to see if this was it. I was just a curious person. I’ve always been curious. I wanna see what other challenges are out there.”
Hogan’s former teammate in Fire ‘N Flava, Tasha Steelz, is part of the Order 4 faction in TNA with Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, John Skyler, and Agent Zero.
On the 7/2 TNA iMPACT, Steelz will be competing against Mara Sadè in the opening round of the Knockouts Television Title tournament.
