Court Bauer Gives An Update On Bishop Dyer’s Status With MLW
On the latest episode of MLW Fusion, MLW informed fans that contract negotiations with Bishop Dyer had broken down.
Dyer is one-half of the MLW Tag Team Champions with Donovan Dijak, but there have been reports that he is headed back to WWE, where he wrestled as Baron Corbin.
Appearing on In The Weeds with Jeremy Lambert and SP3, MLW owner Court Bauer gave an update on negotiations with Bishop Dyer.
“Conversations are fluid, but he recently dug in and is playing hardball. I want to be transparent with our audience and fans. We got to a certain point where it’s not looking great, and we’re at an impasse. Obviously, there are rumors about Bishop, his future, and where he’s going next. This may get done, it may not get done, and I wanted everyone to be aware of it. If I have the opportunity to disclose what’s going on, I would like to, and do it in a way where the audience has context. I’m confident we can try to get something done; it just has to make sense for both parties. He’s been an amazing talent and great team player,” he said.
