King Trevor Murdoch Talks NWA-TNA, Being Kicked In The Crotch By A Certain Wrestler And More

King Trevor Murdoch talks about being part of the NWA-TNA.

Murdoch has been working in professional wrestling for 27 years now, having stints in promotions such as TNA, WWE, and currently NWA. He also worked for NWA-TNA as part of The Dupps tag team.

Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, King Trevor Murdoch spoke about working in the NWA-TNA.

“Yup. I was one of the NWA or TNA originals. A lot of people don’t know, I wrestled there as a character named Stan Dupp, which all in itself was a very entertaining character. I had shoe issue, I had a shake issue and I was scared of midgets.”

Murdoch has worked with people of short stature before. Later in the interview, he talks about one wrestler who punches him in the groin area.

“I’ve wrestled at least one that continuously likes to punch me in the crotch whenever he gets an opportunity. I’m not a fan. I’m just letting you know that I am not a fan.”

The wrestler then talks about the NWA locker room.

“100%, but that’s the great thing about NWA. When you watch our program, you don’t know what kind of mix-up and matches you’re gonna get and as a wrestler, you better step up one way or another. We’ve got great talent in there and they will embarrass you if you’re not willing to step up, ‘cause we’re moving up.”
