At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026, a 12 man tag team steel cage match would take place between Team MJF, backed by the Don Callis Family, and Team Briscoe, who was backed by several of AEW’s purest babyfaces to face off inside the cage. During the course of the match, tacks were introduced, and for Darby, this would lead to an ugly bump where many fans noted his reaction was instantaneously one of regret as he took a back body drop from MJF, completely rotated and landed face first into the tacks.
In a new social media post on Monday, Darby Allin took to Instagram and noted that the bump was ‘sketchy’, even by his standards.
Thumbtacks to face was sketchy.
