Stu Grayson Still Believes Dark Order Could Be The Bullet Club Of AEW

Stu Grayson discusses Dark Order and working with Brodie Lee as part of the faction, also noting that the stable could be on Bullet Club’s level.

Dark Order is a faction that has depth in the history of AEW, originally being lead by Brodie Lee before his tragic passing in 2020. Throughout the factions run, it would have a litany of members in AEW, including the likes of John Silver, Stu Grayson, Evil Uno and more.

While speaking to Soundsphere Magazine in a new interview, Stu Grayson reflected on working with Brodie Lee as part of the Dark Order.

“The obvious one is the arrival of Brodie, having him show up… it had to be there. Too bad it was during Covid, like the beginning of it. The timing was bad, but having him finally showing up with us… he was so happy, so motivated, he was so focused on, like, ‘Let’s make Dark Order the best shit ever.’”

Grayson continued, expressing his belief that the faction could still be the ‘Bullet Club of AEW.’

“We all strongly believe that Dark Order could have easily been – actually believe it can still be, by the way – the Bullet Club of AEW, its own creation in AEW that Uno and I came up with.”

Grayson also recalled how Brodie would pay for a feast following his TNT Championship win in AEW.

“The moment he won the TNT Championship, and we filmed that BTE… he ordered 400 bucks worth of Chili’s, and we’re asking him, like, ‘Hey, man, how much do we owe you?’ And he looks at us, and he goes, ‘Boys, do you think I need your money? I lead this team, I pay for the food.’”

Finally, Stu would recall a brief exchange he had with Brodie about how ‘life was good’ being paid to wrestle.

“He’s just like, ‘Man, wrestling is awesome. Look at us, we’re getting paid to do this, life is good,’ and I was like, ‘You’re damn right it is.’”
