AEW is a promotion that prides itself on the young talent that is breaking through across their roster, including the likes of Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita, with Paul Wight including another name.

While speaking to Joey Franchize in a new interview, Paul Wight discussed talent that have caught his eye in AEW.

“Yeah. I mean, there’s a lot. We’ve got a lot of really outstanding young talent there. I mean, they’re doing well now. Like, when I first got introduced to them, they were really just starting to kick it off. But Kyle Fletcher’s doing amazing. Takeshita is an amazing talent. Both of those will be wrestling tomorrow night, too against each other, matter of fact, and they’re two young, I guess you’d refer to them as the studs, whatever you want to call them, thoroughbreds, whatever you want to call them. They’re big. They’re talented. They know their characters. They can get it done in the ring. Talent that’s not really being used yet to their capacity, Satnam Singh, that’s an easy one for me. That’s a direct line. Like when I first started, I had Taker in the corner because I tagged with Taker when I first started in WWF, and I can do the same thing with Satnam. That’s one of the things, because he’s such a good kid and a good guy. But he’s just a massive human being. Satnam’s huge. He’s got to be 7’1″, 2″, you know, 380, 390. You know, I’ve seen him, you know, bench pressing, you know, 500 pounds. Like, he’s a monster. But he just needs somebody to help him on presence.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Wight spoke on the main reason he decided to sign with AEW. You can read more about that here.
