JD McDonagh: I Wear ‘Big Head’ Comments As A Badge Of Honor
JD McDonagh is not bothered by your “big head” jokes.
The size of McDonagh’s head has often been mentioned online and even on television, but it’s nothing that McDonagh hasn’t heard before.
“I wear it as a badge of honor,” JD McDonagh told TMZ’s Inside The Ring. “Nothing that anyone says can hurt me. I’m living my dream here. I’m in a huge house in Clearwater. I don’t give a shit what anyone says. I’ve been hearing that since I was maybe 16. I haven’t heard it in Ireland because it is a common thing in Ireland that you have a big slab head on you. I’m just one of those big Irish-headed guys. It was when I started wrestling in the UK for the first time that I was informed by the fans that I had a big head. I think the chant was, ‘Go back to Easter Island.’ I’ve been hearing it for years.”
McDonagh is set to face Danhausen at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
On Monday, it was announced that the match would be a No DQ bout.
