CM Punk Says He’ll Be Wearing New York Knicks Colors At Tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

CM Punk says that he will be wearing New York Knicks colors at tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event where he will team with Cody Rhodes.

The New York Knicks recently captured the NBA Championship, with Jalen Brunson scheduled to appear at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Now, one participant in the event is planning his own tribute to the basketball team.

While speaking to ESPN New York in a new interview, CM Punk noted that he would be wearing Knicks colors at the event.

“Now, obviously, I’m a Chicago Bulls guy. We had a dynasty. I’m a Chicago Blackhawks guy. We had a dynasty, and I think what happens is after your teams win and you win multiple championships, you wind up paying the price for it, and then there’s the rebuild and then the retool and all that. Man, I’m stoked to be at the Garden tomorrow night tagging with Cody, and it’s going to be kind of like a celebration of – the Knicks winning the championship, and the fans being able to attend a parade, come to The Garden, where your Knicks colors, you know, like I, I’m going to be wearing Knicks colors because I want to celebrate that team winning that for the fan base. I think it’s an amazing thing. I’m happy to see it.”
