El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. Earns Spot In Four-Way Match For Vacant AAA Latin American Title At Triplemanía 34
El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. is gunning for the gold.
As a result of El Hijo del Vikingo suffering a knee injury and undergoing surgery, the AAA Latin American Championship that he held is now vacant.
AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio revealed that a new champion is going to be crowned in a four-way match at Triplemanía 34, which is a two-night event on September 11th and September 13th. Night one is at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and night two is at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
The qualifiers started on the July 18th AAA on FOX. The first name to lock in a spot was El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr, who bested Abismo Negro and Texano Jr. in a Triple Threat match. Dr. Wagner Jr.’s father, Dr. Wagner, is the first-ever AAA Latin American Champion.
