Tony Khan Reacts To WWE x AAA Worlds Collide Being Scheduled For Same Day & Market As AEW All Out: “It’s The, Frankly, Predatory Nature Of Scheduling Of Events”

Tony Khan further addresses the counterprogramming.

On August 30th, All Elite Wrestling will present All In at Wembley Stadium in London, England. WWE went on to announce that on that same day, they’ll be presenting a AAA event and NXT Heatwave in Edinburgh, Texas. The WWE event(s) will kick off around the same time as All In starts.

AEW All Out 2026 is scheduled for September 26th at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and WWE would go on to announce a Worlds Collide show for September 26th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

Tony Khan appeared on the Battleground Podcast and commented on the latest counterprogramming announcement and said the following:

“It’s probably all of the above. I think it’s all of the above,” he responded when asked if he views WWE doing a show in the same market and on the same day as AEW All Out as healthy competition or just the reality of the wrestling business. “It’s the reality of current wrestling. It’s the, frankly, predatory nature of scheduling of events but also, the compliment that says that AEW’s doing very well and Chicago’s a great city for wrestling. I’m very excited about AEW All Out, and it’s not something unexpected to have competition and I do welcome it and I also really am excited about the run of shows coming up.”

Fightful will have written and video/audio coverage of the aforementioned events.
