Finn Balor Vs. Sami Zayn To Face In A WWE Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match At WWE SummerSlam
Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn confirmed for WWE SummerSlam.
On the July 24 edition of WWE SmackDown, Sami Zayn vented his frustrations regarding not being in the WWE Championship match between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.
Adam Pearce then informed him that a fatal 4-way match would be held later that night, featuring Finn Balor, Royce Keys, Trick Williams, and Damian Priest. The winner of this bout will face Zayn at SummerSlam in a number one contender’s match for the WWE Title.
The bout ended with Finn Balor winning after a Coup de Grace to Priest. The match saw interference from Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, as well as involvement from The Usos and LA Knight as well.
Balor is now set to face Zayn at SummerSlam.
