Will Ospreay: The UK Fans Understand My Personality, They Understand I’m A Very Cheeky Person

Will Ospreay notes that UK wrestling fans understand his personality and notes that he doesn’t set out to offend anyone with his humour.

Over the years, Ospreay has brought his cheekiness from his real life personality into his professional wrestling character, having been known to infuse his sense of humour into his wrestling character – at times receiving backlash for certain things he says as a result.

While speaking to Soundsphere Magazine in a new interview, Will Ospreay spoke about his personality and how some fans outside of the UK misunderstand his sense of humour when it comes to the things he says in the realm of professional wrestling.

“The UK fans understand my personality, they understand I’m a very cheeky person,”

Ospreay continued, noting that his humour does translate wrong sometimes, even to UK fans.

“I mean, my humour sometimes translates wrong even to the people in my country,” he admits. “But the best way that I can show authenticity is by being me. I grew up on building sites, and I grew up around geezers and men, and trust me, I hate it, I like spray tans,”
