The Bella Twins Name AJ Lee And Paige As Their Favorite Tag Team Opponents

The Bella Twins name AJ Lee and Paige as their favorite tag team opponents throughout their long history of teaming together.

At WrestleMania 31, AJ Lee and Paige would team up to take on the Bella Twins in what would be one of AJ’s final matches during her first run with WWE, with Paige and AJ going over in the bout.

While speaking in a new video for Variety, The Bella Twins were asked to name their favorite tag team opponents, with the pair naming AJ Lee and Bayley. Nikki would then go on to explain why she feels that way.

“We had incredible chemistry in the ring, and you don’t get that with everyone, whether it was one versus one or tag, and then we had just great stories. There was so much there.  I feel like us four never get enough credit for our storyline going into that WrestleMania. People couldn’t wait for that match, and everything just really flowed. There was a lot of emotions, a lot of investment, connection.”

Brie would then continue, noting that there was a lot of depth to their storyline with Paige and AJ.

“Yeah, there was definitely a lot of depth to the storyline, and I think it was like years of like these little stories we all had throughout, you know, working each other and definitely the chemistry. That’s a big part with your opponent is like having good chemistry, which we all did.”
