Nick Jackson Took Multiple Concussion Tests After AEW Redemption, Opens Up About Lingering Effects From Forbidden Door Injury

An update from Nick Jackson.
One of the matches on the marquee for AEW Redemption was The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) versus Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley. The Bucks ended up pulling out the victory.
Nick was out of the match for a bit, and he provided an update on his status on Being The Elite. He said he passed multiple concussion tests. The trainers told him that he definitely got his bell rung during the bout.
He then went on to recall landing on his head at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door and has had lingering effects from that.
Nick: “I feel pretty good now, now that it’s been what? Two hours? I went to the trainer’s room of course, obviously, and so, I had to take multiple concussion tests and I passed so that’s good. They said I definitely had my bell rung. But I had a lot of dizziness.”
Matt: “You just had the whiplash thing like a month ago.”
Nick: “The last pay-per-view — you could even show this… I landed right on my head in — where was that? San Jose? Landed right on my head and that was not a concussion or anything. It was considered a whiplash injury so, ever since then though, I’ve had these weird effects where I feel foggy — because of the neck. I didn’t have any vision issues or any of that but, today, it felt very similar to what I was experiencing last month. But now I feel a lot better. The doctor said that I’m probably not healing fast enough because I’m not having enough carbs.”
Matt: “Well, he’s having zero carbs. He might be too dehydrated.”
Nick: “Yeah, and I definitely felt dehydrated today so, I’m partially to blame for that.”
Next up for The Young Bucks is All In on August 30th, where they will be challenging Adam Copeland and Christian Cage for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
