Chris Jericho Calls Bout Against Tommaso Ciampa At AEW Beach Break One Of His Favorite Matches

Chris Jericho enjoyed working with Tommaso Ciampa.

The story between Chris Jericho and Tommaso Ciampa has seen the two talents compete in two matches thus far. At AEW Dynamite: Beach Break, Ciampa defeated Jericho, and at the Redemption pay-per-view several weeks later, Jericho defeated Ciampa.

Jericho was interviewed by Justin Barrasso of Undisputed, and he stated that the Beach Break match against Ciampa is one of his favorites. Jericho added that he has to be cognizant of the matches he’s having because he’s under the microscope for continuing to compete at his age.

“That was one of my favorite matches. I have to really be cognizant of having the best matches that I can. I’m under the microscope because I’m daring to still do this after all these years. I take it very seriously. I wouldn’t still be doing it if I didn’t think I could offer high-level matches like that and high-level stories and gimmicks and pageantry and all the stuff that I love about pro wrestling.”
