Tate Wilder Opens Up About Injury Setbacks Early In WWE Run, Blew Out Patellar Tendon & Broke His Hand

Tate Wilder suffered multiple injuries to start his time with WWE.

The newest episode of Dropping Dimes with Cam and Chilly featured an interview with NXT talent Tate Wilder.

He shared that in his first week at the WWE Performance Center, he blew out his patellar tendon. When he started making his comeback from that, he broke his hand.

“I signed my N.I.L. deal in ‘22. I didn’t get to WWE’s Performance Center till about 2023, and my first week there, I tore my knee. I blew out my patellar tendon. But during that time, I was able to sit down and kind of take it all in from the outsider perspective. Taking notes, trying to figure out what I can do so when I got healthy, I could perform to the best of my ability…”

Wilder was last in action on NXT TV on July 14th, and he fell in defeat to NARAKU.
