Oba Femi Says He Did Not See Public Endorsement From Brock Lesnar Coming

Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell at WWE SummerSlam in the main event of the evening.

After the match, Lesnar hugged Femi and dubbed him as the future of WWE.

Speaking after the event, Oba Femi was asked about Lesnar’s endorsement.

“The hug and the public endorsement was definitely a swerve. I did not see that coming. I knew that deep down Brock has always respected me. He knows that deep down, I respect him as well,” he said.

Speaking about the match, Femi said, “I don’t know how I survived. The truth is this, the future is not far away. The future is now. The future is me.”

Lesnar’s loss at SummerSlam was the first time he’s lost inside Hell in a Cell in his career.
