Roman Reigns Retains World Heavyweight Title Against Seth Rollins At WWE SummerSlam
Roman Reigns retains at WWE SummerSlam.
The main event for WWE SummerSlam was a World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
Seth Rollins’ entrance for this bout started with The Shield’s music before cutting to his current theme song. Roman Reigns, on the other hand, made his usual entrance.
At one point in the bout, both wrestlers paid homage to their former Shield brother, Dean Ambrose (aka Jon Moxley). Rollins used Wacky Line on Reigns, and the latter hit him with Dirty Deeds.

A ref bump spot took out the official in the second half of the bout. In the end, the referee returned to the ring to count the pin for Reigns as he hit a third Spear to Rollins for the victory.
This was Reigns’ first singles PLE win against Rollins. Following the match, Reigns and Rollins did the Shield bump, seemingly marking the end of their rivalry.
