Wyatt Sicks & #DIY Pitched To Do Brawl At Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights Attraction
They wanted to do a brawl at the Halloween Horror Nights attraction.
The FiveMarks released a new interview with Joseph Sawyer, a.k.a. Joe Gacy. They went over Gacy’s time in the WWE, which came to an end when he and the entire Wyatt Sicks were let go in April 2026.
Speaking about pitches and storyline ideas, Sawyer shared that when The Wyatt Sicks had their own attraction at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, there was a pitch to have a brawl between them and #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) at the attraction.
“At the time, we had our Halloween Horror Nights thing that we had going on. We pitched — well, I think #DIY pitched first. We do a thing where Tommaso (Ciampa) and Johnny (Gargano) go to the house, at Universal (Studios), and then we happen to be in there and have a thing where we fight throughout the house and stuff which (was) pitched so many times but, I don’t know. I think that was a missed opportunity.”
Ciampa is no longer with WWE as he opted to depart the company. He is now signed to All Elite Wrestling and won the TNT Championship in his first match there.
