Ethan Page Says He’s Ready To Exit The Lucha Universe After Pinning Rey Mysterio
Ethan Page is ready to move on from luchadors.
Since arriving to the main roster earlier this year, Page has faced off with Penta, Dragon Lee, and Rey Mysterio on multiple occasions. Given that he has pinned all three of those names, Page believes that it’s time for him to exit the lucha universe.
“Who’s looking past that? Don’t. He’s the greatest luchador of all time. I’ve pinned him. I’ve pinned his protege, everybody says Penta is the next one. Pinned him on Monday Night Raw. Pinned Rey Mysterio on Monday Night Raw. That pet dragon that Rey’s got, Dragon Lee, he thinks he’s the next one. I beat him too. I think I’m ready to exit the Lucha universe. I did so well in AAA, they’re obviously just going with the flow here, keeping that mix of talent coming through. Everyone loves to watch Ethan Page beat up a luchador.” Page told The Wrestling Classic for a new interview.
