It has been a year since Real American Freestyle wrestling was founded. It was founded by Chad Bronstein, Izzy Martinez, Eric Bischoff, and the late Terry Bollea, a.k.a. Hulk Hogan.
There’s a feature piece about R.A.F. that was published by Front Office Sports. Bronstein was interviewed, and he said that despite R.A.F. and TKO Group Holdings being involved with Real American Beer, which was co-founded by him and Bollea, TKO has no stake in RAF.
Real American Beer was promoted on WWE television. Bronstein added a ‘never say never,’ but that is not an open conversation right now.
“Never say never, but that’s not an open conversation that’s happening right now.”
Another note from the article is that a commissioner of R.A.F. will not be appointed. That role was meant for Bollea and Bollea only.
“One thing that won’t happen is the appointment of a commissioner. RAF was founded with plans for Hogan to hold the position, but the wrestler passed away prior to the promotion’s first event. Bronstein said the role was created only for the WWE legend and will not be filled.”
The next R.A.F. show is on August 22nd in Cleveland, Ohio, headlined by Merab Dvalishvili versus Henry Cejudo.
