Claudio Castagnoli Shares His Thoughts On Influencers Joining Wrestling

Claudio Castagnoli shares his thoughts on influencers joining pro wrestling.
Celebrity appearances are a topic that has fans divided. Some believe they are part of the business, while others believe they shouldn’t be prioritized over actual wrestlers who’ve been grinding for years.
Speaking with Sky Sports recently, Claudio Castagnoli said that celebrities getting involved in wrestling isn’t a new thing. He then discussed social media influencers becoming wrestlers.
“This is not a brand new thing. There was always celebrities or maybe football, like in the past was more football players for example, or bodybuilders or stuff like that. Now it’s influencers because of how everything evolved. As much as that is part of the business, because it brings in a new audience and it keeps things interesting, I feel the core of the wrestling business is still wrestling and you shouldn’t lose that.”
In another interview, Claudio talked about the ultimate mission statement for Death Riders. Fans can read his full comments here.
