Kelani Jordan Challenging Kendal Grey For NXT Women’s Championship At Heatwave PLE

Kelani Jordan is getting her shot at the gold.

There was a segment on the August 11th edition of WWE NXT on The CW that saw Kali Armstrong take to the ring to stake her claim to an NXT Women’s Championship match.

Armstrong was interrupted by Kelani Jordan, who has also been on the chase for a title match. As they were going back and forth, NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey and WWE Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair came to the ring.

Grey stated that she was fed up with Jordan complaining about a title shot, so she went to NXT General Manager Robert Stone and got Jordan what she wanted. She then told Jordan to pick the date for their bout.

Jordan selected the NXT Heatwave Premium Live Event on August 30th. A brawl ensued after Armstrong struck Grey in the face.
