Boxer Prichard Colón Passes Away At 33

Prichard Colón passes away.
At the age of 33 years old, boxer Prichard Colón has passed away. It was 11 years ago that he suffered blows to the head during the only defeat of his pro career.
His father wrote the following on Facebook:
“I regret to inform you of the passing of my son Prichard from this earthly world. Now he is in a better world.
Thank you for so many years of love and prayers. As much as you can, please keep us in your prayers.”
Colón started his career in 2013. He competed in 17 fights and won 16 of those, 13 via knockout.
Colón was 23 when he suffered the head injury in a fight against Terrel Williams, during which he took an illegal blow to the head.
The injury forced him to retire, and he was relegated to a wheelchair.
Fightful would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Prichard Colón.
