Blake Monroe recalls fangirling over Brie Bella after meeting her following one of her WWE SmackDown dark matches.
In recent months, Blake has been teased as coming to WWE Friday Night SmackDown, with several vignettes, backstage segments and dark matches setting the stage for her TV in ring debut this coming Friday against Giulia.
While speaking to Nikki Bella during a recent interview on the Nikki & Brie show, Blake Monroe would recall fangirling over Brie Bella watching one of her dark matches.
“I remember I did the dark match on SmackDown. I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ Like, I hadn’t wrestled in a while, and I was like, ‘I’m dying to wrestle.’ Like, I need to wrestle again. Then I did the dark match and I came back and Brie was the first person there, and she was like, ‘Oh my God.’ Like, she gave me a hug and she was like, ‘That was so good.’ I remember I texted my boyfriend and I was like, ‘Brie Bella just watched my match.’ Like, ‘Brie Bella just watched my match and she hugged me.’”
