Trish Stratus shares how she sent Chelsea Green ‘a long voice memo’ about her recent orbital injury.

At SummerSlam earlier this month, Chelsea Green would capture the WWE Women’s Championship in a ladder match, but would soon after suffer an orbital injury that puts her title reign at risk.

While speaking to POST Wrestling in a new interview, Trish Stratus spoke about ‘everything happening for a reason,’ noting that she recently sent Chelsea Green a voice memo reminding her of that following her recent orbital injury.

“I’m a very big proponent and everything happens for a reason. I feel like when- a lot of the girls that have been getting injured, I mean, I just sent a voice memo, a long memo to Chelsea, and I was just like, it’s those moments where like, ‘no, there’s a reason why, or I don’t know, you can wear a face mask, it’s going to be a thing.’ I don’t know, something’s going to be, there’s a reason. You’ll be like, ‘oh shit, that’s kind of cool that that happened because of this, you know what I mean?”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Trish spoke about several boxes needing to be checked when she is pitched returns. You can read more about that here.
