Matt Cardona: Chelsea Green Is A Made Woman After Heartfelt Promo On SmackDown

Chelsea Green delivered arguably the best promo of her career on SmackDown when she detailed her trials and tribulations throughout her career in an effort to keep the WWE Women’s Title after general manager Nick Aldis stripped her of the title due to injury.

The promo continued to get the fans behind her and it worked on Aldis, who gave her the title back and said she had 30 days to defend it.

Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Green’s husband Matt Cardona praised Chelsea’s work.

“I told her this, ‘I’m actually glad you got hurt because you were able to cut that heartfelt promo,’ which I think makes her made woman right now in WWE. I think everyone knows how entertaining she is, but she’s so much more than that. That promo on Friday cemented that,” said Cardona.

Chelsea Green was interrupted by Gunther, who was interrupted by Cardona, leading to an impromptu match between the two. Gunther was victorious.
