Nick Aldis Warns Cody Rhodes And Randy Orton If They Touch Each Other Before Sunday Night’s Main Event, Neither Will Get Another Shot At The WWE Championship

Nick Aldis says Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes can’t touch each other before Sunday Night’s Main Event or they’ll never get another shot at the WWE Championship.

On the August 21 episode of WWE SmackDown, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton came face to face again. Rhodes asked him to have their match right there instead of waiting for Sunday Night’s Main Event.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, who was also there, stopped them by announcing that if either man touched the other before their match on September 6, they would never get another shot at the WWE Championship.

Afterward, Rhodes and Orton exchanged words briefly, and the segment ended.
