Kyle O’Reilly And Claudio Castagnoli Advance In The Continental Challenge Cup On 8/22 AEW Collision
Kyle O’Reilly and Claudio Castagnoli have advanced to the semifinals of the Continental Challenge Cup.
The Continental Challenge Cup quarterfinals continued on this week’s AEW Collision, with the final two matches being Orange Cassidy vs. Kyle O’Reilly and Claudio Castagnoli vs. Daniel Garcia.
Cassidy vs. O’Reilly opened the show. The ending of this match saw O’Reilly considering stomping on Cassidy’s foot, but he stopped. Cassidy then went for a rollup, but O’Reilly escaped. O’Reilly then put him in the ankle lock and made Cassidy submit.

Later in the show, Castagnoli faced Garcia. Castagnoli won in the end with the ankle lock.
