Jamie Hayter speaks on she and Alex Windsor’s Brawling Birds characters, noting that they are close to how they act in real life.

Earlier this year, Hayter and Windsor would form the Brawling Birds tag team and at AEW All In later this weekend, they will challenge Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships. The team have been building momentum since forming, and have featured in several segments playing up the fact the pair are both British.

While speaking to the BBC in a new interview, Jamie Hayter would speak about she and Windsor’s characters as part of their tag team presentation. Hayter would note their characters are close to how they act in real life – but they do ham it up for the American audience.

“It’s pretty close to us in real life, we’re pretty tomboyish, we don’t take things too seriously and we both like going to the pub. We’re loud and boisterous but in a good way, and then you crank that up to 10 – we do ham it up a bit for an American audience.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Hayter spoke about how it was a relief that she was diagnosed with ADHD. You can read more about that here.
