Tony Khan has addressed reports that AEW will have to tone down their pyro at AEW All In later this week, noting he hadn’t heard about it.

Earlier this week, reports from both the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Fightful Select addressed that AEW would have reduced fireworks and pyro at AEW All In due to fire risks.

While speaking to Metro’s Alistair McGeorge in a new interview, Tony Khan was asked about these reports, noting that it was the first he’s heard of possible pyro issues.

“That’s the first I’ve heard of any of that, so I can’t speculate.”

Later on in the interview, Tony Khan confirmed that he would continue bringing AEW to England.

“I really believe that the English wrestling fans have been instrumental in growing the worldwide popularity of AEW, and London may be the very best city for AEW, so I absolutely will continue bringing AEW here to London, and also I look forward to visiting other cities in England. We debuted in Manchester last year. I think there are more opportunities to visit all the great cities around the UK, because there are so many great wrestling fans here in the United Kingdom.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Tony spoke about what he would have done if approached about Adam Copeland appearing during John Cena’s farewell tour last year. You can read more about that here.
