Will Ospreay: I Feel Like I Have A Good Connection With Every Single Person In The AEW Locker Room

Will Ospreay is appreciated in AEW.

Since signing with the company in 2023, Ospreay has been praised and applauded by many of his peers. From names near the top of the card like Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley to younger performers like Wheeler Yuta and Anthony Bowens, it appears that Ospreay is universally liked in AEW.

Speaking with Shakiel Mahjouri for a new interview, Will Ospreay was asked about the consistent praise from his peers.

“I’m lost for words about it. You obviously want to be liked by everybody, but you kind of accept that some people are never going to like you or whatever. To have so many of my peers that I love and respect and idolize say how much they need me. Cope’s another one, another time he just goes, ‘Hey, be safe, we need ya.’ It’s shit like that, it truly blows me away. It’s the type of energy that my mom always put out where she would always say if we’re in a position to help, we help. I do my best to try and put smiles on people’s faces. I’m very much a cheeky chappie. I’m one of the type of people that — I feel like I have a good connection with every single person in the locker room. I’m always there to talk to people. I love helping the women if they ever want to do stuff in the ring beforehand, like if there’s any type of tricks that I can teach or anything that I can sink my teeth into, I’m very much like an open book and try to help out in that retrospect. It’s definitely like a job that I would like on the other side of wrestling as well. The fact that I have made so many wonderful connections with our roster, I truly am a blessed individual to know that there’s so many people that hold my name to a high value.”
