Cruz Montana Feels Like He Had Instant Chemistry With Grayson Waller, ‘We Both Like To Hit Hard’
Cruz Montana is looking forward to his future battles with Grayson Waller.
Montana made his return to the ring by facing Waller on the August 11 episode of WWE NXT. The match was widely liked, with most fans agreeing that it was particularly Waller’s best match of the year.
Speaking with the No Contest Wrestling Podcast, Montana was asked to name a wrestler that he’s going to have history with when he wraps up his run in NXT.
“Definitely Grayson Waller. I feel like we had that one match and there was instant chemistry there. I think because we both have something to prove constantly and we’re both pretty much fighting for the same thing. We’re fighting for ourselves and we’re here to represent. We both like to hit hard. I remember, I was like, ‘Yo, I’mma come at you as hard as possible and I expect nothing less in return.’ I’m glad that’s what we delivered. The chemistry was there, we had a good one.”
