Maya World Says AEW Extended Mental Health Resources To Her Family After Her Brother’s Passing

Maya World praises AEW.

World’s brother tragically passed in June after being involved in a car accident. Since then, the ‘It Girl’ has processed her grief into a wave of momentum that ultimately resulted in a TBS Championship win at the Redemption pay-per-view.

Speaking with Poisonrana/POST Wrestling for a new interview, Maya World revealed that AEW extended mental health resources to her and her family after the tragic incident.

“As soon as I got there, everybody was so loving and comforting. Tony has been amazing since that happened. They also had all these mental health resources for me and also my family that they extended it to. It’s just been the best, I don’t know if anywhere else would’ve been so loving as AEW has been. Definitely one of those things where I had to like just dive in and make myself busy. I’ve been on the road every week since, so it’s been great.”
