Richard Holliday Explains Why He Left His Boots In The Ring At GCW

At GCW Melee in Manchester on July 12, Richard Holliday left his boots in the ring, which indicates that a wrestler is retiring. The gesture came after speculation that Holliday would be signing with WWE.

Holliday has continued to wrestle on the independents and will return to GCW on September 25.

On social media, Holliday explained that he left his boots in the ring because he is moving on and doing different things in his career, and he needed new boots.

“I took off my boots because there was a rip in that boot and it started to become a little unsafe,” he said.
