Vanity Project Ends Myles Borne & Tavion Heights’ NXT Tag Team Title Reign At Heatwave PLE

Vanity Project regains the gold.

The NXT Tag Team Titles were up for grabs at the 2026 NXT Heatwave Premium Live Event. The duo of Tavion Heights and NXT North American Champion Myles Borne put the tag belts on the line against Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes).

The backend of the bout saw Borne be shoved into Heights, which knocked Heights off the ring apron. Vanity Project capitalized on that, and Smokes pinned Borne to win the tag titles for his team.

Borne and Heights’ title reign lasted 26 days. Borne’s duties are not done, as he is set to defend the North American Championship against Vanity Project’s Jackson Drake at Heatwave.

Baylor and Smokes are now two-time NXT Tag Team Champions.
