Kelani Jordan Def. Kendal Grey To Become NXT Women’s Champion At Heatwave PLE

The new NXT Women’s Champion, Kelani Jordan.

On the marquee for WWE NXT Heatwave was Kendal Grey defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Kelani Jordan. It was Jordan’s first shot at the NXT Women’s Title in her four years with WWE.

The match was Grey’s second defense of the belt, and it concluded with Jordan sending Grey flying into an exposed turnbuckle. She immediately followed up by hitting Grey with the ‘One of a Kind’ split-legged moonsault, and that secured Jordan the victory.

It was in August 2022 that Jordan signed with WWE, and fast forward to August 2026, she became the NXT Women’s Champion.

Kendal Grey was champion for 63 days.
