Myles Borne started the 2026 Heatwave Premium Live Event as NXT Tag Team Champion and NXT North American Champion. By the end of the night, he lost both of his titles.
Borne and Tavion Heights lost the NXT Tag Team Titles to Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes), and later in the show, Vanity Project helped Jackson Drake defeat Borne to win the North American Championship.
Post-match, Heights tried to show support for his partner, but Borne hit Heights with the ‘Borne Again’ finisher and then left the ring.
