John Cena Says They Have All The Details For The John Cena Classic
At WWE Backlash, John Cena announced the John Cena Classic, a new tournament that will pit main roster superstars against NXT superstars.
A champion will be crowned in the tournament, but through a fan vote and not wins and losses.
No further details have been given about the Classic by WWE since the announcement.
Speaking at Fan Expo Canada, Cena was asked for an update on the Classic.
“I can’t say nothing right now. Normally, I want say, ‘We’re figuring out all the details.’ I’ll say this, we have all the details. You just have to hang in there with me because they want me to keep it a secret until it’s time to say it. We have a lot of information we’re going to dump on you, it just ain’t going to be today,” he said.
Fightful Select has reported that WWE is targeting December for the tournament.
