Brick Savage Says Joining CONTRA Unit In MLW Was ‘A Big No-Brainer’ For Them

Brick Savage says that joining CONTRA Unit in Major League Wrestling, noting that the decision was a ‘big no-brainer.’

CONTRA Unit is a faction that features as part of MLW and includes leader Josef Samael, Ikuro Kwon, KUSHIDA, Okumura, Big Damo, Kananga, Brick Savage, and the Sentai Death Squad, with Savage being the latest name to join the faction last month.

While speaking to Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds in a recent interview, Brick Savage spoke about joining the faction, noting that it was a big no-brainer for them to join CONTRA Unit.

“I think it’s a big no-brainer for me, the character of Brick and myself. The level of danger in which I can bring from immediately walking out is on full display every time, right? So I don’t look very friendly. I don’t work well with others that have this kind of like moral compass of things, and being in CONTRA Unit, I fit that description of danger, and to me, it was a no-brainer that that’s where I needed to go.”
