Will Ospreay Announces That He’s Forming His Own United Empire In AEW
Will Ospreay talks his AEW World Championship win and makes a big announcement.
Just days after headlining AEW All In, Ospreay kicked off the September 2 episode of AEW Dynamite to a huge reaction. After taking in some “you deserve it” chants, Ospreay said that no words can do justice to his All In moment. He promised fans that he won’t let them down before addressing Kenny Omega.
After reminding Omega that they each have two wins each, ‘The Aerial Assassin’ told Omega that they can have the tiebreaker match whenever he is ready. Ospreay also gave some credit to Callum Newman, Francesco Akira, and HENARE for accompanying him at All In before revealing that he plans on starting his own United Empire group in AEW.
Moments later, Ricochet and The Demand interrupted. Ricochet insulted Ospreay by saying that he wouldn’t be where he is at without him. Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors were out next. Eventually, all five names tried to make their way to attack Ospreay. Newman, Akira, and HENARE all appeared from the crowd, preventing the attack.
