Athena: Alexa Bliss Is One Of My Favorite People In The World
Athena misses Alexa Bliss.
In the past, both Athena and Bliss have been open about their friendship and how they’ve stayed close despite working in different companies.
While speaking with Denise Salcedo for a new interview, Athena spoke about Bliss helping her out with fashion and other girl things during her time in WWE.
“I had the awesome Alexa Bliss to help me out every step of this way. My bestie, I miss you girl. I had her to kind of help me out with all these things because we were road buddies and we actually bonded because of that. I had never gotten my nails done before and she’s like, ‘Girl, let’s go. No, come on. Pixie’s gonna take care of you, babygirl. Come on down here, you can’t just get the normal.’ But, if I didn’t have that, I’m such a tomboy. I will wear sweatpants and just a tank top every day of my life. My hair would just be in a bun. I had the women to help me kind of find who I was like, hey, where do I buy clothes? Where do I do this? This isn’t stuff that guys really have to worry about too often.”
Continuing on, Athena said that Bliss is one of her favorite people in the world.
“She is one of my favorite people in this world. We still have our inside jokes, I send her Lion King curtains every year for Christmas. She’ll send me Marriott t-shirts. Dude, she’s one of my best friends in this world. I wish I could see her more but our schedules are just crisscrossed. We’ll text each other, like her favorite song came on my Instagram. I tweeted at her like, girl, it’s your song and she’s like, ‘Why do you remember this?’ There were times where we would be in rooms in South America. I almost abandoned her for a ghost one time, but that’s a little long of a story. It turned out not to be a ghost, but I did abandon her. I was like, ‘Girl, I don’t mess with the spooky stuff. I’m out.’ She’s one of the kindest people in the world. She’s one of the most generous people in the world who just wants the best for her friends, for herself, for her family. Just genuinely a kind hearted person, I can’t say enough nice things about Pixie. She’s a little sassy though, she’s got some bit to her.”
