Vic Joseph References The New Level During 9/8 WWE NXT

The New Level was referenced on WWE programming.

Closing out the 9/8 edition of WWE NXT on The CW was a six-man tag team match. Joining commentary for the bout was NXT Champion Grayson Waller.

During the bout, commentator Vic Joseph stated that it’s a ‘new day’ for Waller and inquired about how Waller is going to take things to a ‘new level.’

The comments were in reference to Waller’s time with two-thirds of the current AEW World Trios Champions, The New Level (Kofi & Austin Creed). During the backend of Creed and Kofi’s time as The New Day in WWE, Waller was paired with them.
